Insane Asylum Trade

Once five wave up from last Friday's close complete there are a number of possibilities forward. All point down, and all point down hard (i.e. wave (3) of C) sooner or later...

NYSE McClellan

Best case, wave (2) of C still is forming. Five waves forming wave C [down] are projected to sink major indexes to levels last seen in the 1987-1994 period.

NYSE McClellan

Worst case, wave 2 of (3) of C is near completing and the hour of chaos is at hand. No doubt, the McClellan Oscillator is ominously poised. For a point of reference see late-July.

Of course, there's more euro-fantasy to milk in complete delusion that, an EU fiscal union can be achieved under the weight of an oppressive debt imposed by financiers and their so-called "regulators" exercising zero due diligence for decades. So, a day or three more spent essentially going nowhere is reasonably expected. After all, residents in an insane asylum are expert at it, with the likes occupying lower Manhattan having for well over a decade now perfected the art.

© The Risk Averse Alert — Advocating a patient, disciplined approach to stock market investing. Overriding objective is limiting financial risk. Minimizing investment capital loss is a priority.

Analysis centers on the stock market's path of least resistance. Long-term, this drives a simple strategy for safely investing a 401(k) for maximum profit. Intermediate-term, investing with stock index tracking-ETFs (both their long and short varieties) is advanced. Short-term, stock index options occasionally offer extraordinary profit opportunities when the stock market is moving along its projected path.

Nothing is set in stone. Nor is the stock market's path of least resistance always known. More often than not, there are no stock index option positions recommended.
